My regards to deviantART. Once again my photo manipulations and desktop wallpapers fall prey to the copyright police who leave my gallery in ruins with a lone poem, now the only evidence of my work under the name RavensAndRoses. I also receive a cheerful note informing me that the bulk of my gallery has been removed due to "copyright infringement" because the PNGs that I have used in my wallpapers and photo manipulations were not drawn by my own hand. The fact that I stated this in all of my deviation descriptions AND gave the credits to Victoria Francis (the famous artist from whose lovely artwork said PNGs came) obviously did not impress our moderators and now I'm left to the task of rebuilding my gallery from the ground up or simply doing away with this account for good. But instead of pulling my account, I've decided to change the theme of this gallery to literature. I've had the great fortune of being chosen as the literary editor of our university's art and literary magazine Counterpoint. I've written many poems for my poetry class last semester, and I thought that perhaps a large part of my gallery should be my poems. I also want to post some short stories and segments of novels I'm working on, but it will probably take me a long time to work up the courage to share those online. At any rate, I hope those who used to enjoy my wallpaper and photo manipulations will still find some enjoyment in my work in this new media. Thank you to all those who had my earlier work, and I'm very sorry that it was all taken away. But I'm sure it was for the best as this gives me a new outlet to express the written side of my creativity!
